On February 19 2014 Mr. Kerry Yin, Executive Secretary-General of China Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (ZVCA) met in Beijing with Pascal Lamy, former Director-General of World Trade Organization (WTO). Yin and Lamy had very thorough discussion on key issues of overseas M & A for Chinese investors. Lamy welcomes ZVCA's delegations of investors and entrepreneurs to Europe and expressed his willingness to assist the organization of investment networking activities in Europe by ZVCA.

Pascal Lamy (born 8 April 1947) was the Director-General of the World Trade Organization until 1 September 2013. His appointment took effect on 1 September 2005 for a four-year term. In April 2009, WTO members reappointed Mr. Lamy for a second four-year term, beginning on 1 September 2009. He is to be succeeded by Roberto Azev¨ºdo. He is also a French political advisor, a businessman, and a former European Commissioner for Trade. Lamy is currently the Honorary President of Paris-based think tank Notre Europe.

Pascal Lamy's first visit to China was in June 2007. After that he visited China in January 2008, October 2008 and July 2010 and attended the first session of China Beijing International Fair Trade In Services.
