On the morning of October 30th 2017 at the local time, ZVCA visited Chinese Embassy to Israel. Yuting Cui, Counsellor of the Science and Technology Department, warmly received and communicated with the participants.
After in-depth understanding the situation of each participated organization, Cui said that since Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, met with President Jinping Xi, both sides announced to establish a comprehensive partnership for innovation. Both sides agreed with each other that the high-tech services sectors are the key point, we should take great importance to it. In order to strengthen innovation cooperation between the two countries, China and Israel have established China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation and every year holds once annual meeting, the location is in rotation between the two countries.
China-Israel Joint Committee on Innovation has formulated a three-year innovation action program covering 12 key areas and a series of cooperation agreements. Currently, Chinese market has a very strong cooperative demand with Israel in security, hygiene and health, intelligent transportation and ecological governance.
Cui said that the Science and Technology Department of the Embassy now is building and innovative projects docking platform to connect across Israel innovation projects with domestic investment institutions, industrial parks of the whole country, international technology transfer center, etc. He hoped that ZVCA could join in to help for further cooperation between the two countries based on provide better services for its members. President Jason Wang happily accepted the invitation and introduced the relevant requirements of the members of the association.
The representatives also asked and exchanged ideas on capital export and the cultural characteristics of local enterprises. The meeting ended in a warm atmosphere.
