The CCBC 38th AGM and Policy Conference September 1, 2016 Canada & China: A New Direction.
What is happening now? Where are we going from here? When will we see concrete action? How do we tackle the challenges and approach the opportunities? Who will be instrumental?
These are some of the questions that will be discussed and answered at the CCBC 38thAnnual AGM & Policy Conference being held in Shanghai, China on September 1, 2016.
We return to Shanghai, the heart of business in China, the core of the Yangtze River Delta, a market of 115 million people and site of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, for a second consecutive year with very special guests and participants. This year the entire event will take place in one power packed day.
The Policy Conference will take place in the morning, where we will begin with a General Assembly featuring senior government officials from both countries and the ever popular C-Suite Panel, where C-Suite executives will give their impressions, insights and advice on a variety of topics. We will then move into breakout sessions so that guests can attend forums offering specific topics of interest or move between sessions to get an overall understand of issues and matters. There will be two more sessions in the afternoon—one from the Trade Commissioner Service for companies wanting to learn the dos and don’ts of business in China and a joint session with Global CEO Union, the vital arm of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), whose focus is on multilateral investment and Project Financing.
The banquet begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by dinner promptly at 7 p.m. The keynote and guest speakers, who will be announced this month, will be leaders you won’t want to miss!
Last year’s AGM & Policy Conference sold out quickly as this is the most significant annual event on the Canada-China business calendar. Reserve your sponsorship, table or tickets quickly!
