Highlander was invited to participate in the "Science and Technology Development Seminar"
On April 19th, Mr. Wei Fajun, President of Highlander Group, was invited to participate in the “Seminar on the Development of Marine Science and Technology” organized by the China 21st Century Agenda Management Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology, Office of China Oceanic Association, National Marine Environment Monitoring Center, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Harbin Engineering University, Shandong University, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China International Marine Containers Co., Ltd., Beijing Highlander Data Science & Technology Co., Ltd., and Shenzhen Wisdom Ocean Technology Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Lang Cheng Technology Co., Ltd. and other five Shenzhen marine-related companies attended the meeting.
The conference focused on the latest developments in the world's marine science and technology, the current frontier of marine science and technology, the key direction of the future development of marine science and technology, and the competitiveness of China's marine science and technology.In the process of discussion, the experts stated that foreign mainstream marine instruments and equipment have basically stagnated in technological development in the past ten years, and new sensors with new technical systems, low costs, and small size will have a large application space in the future; autonomous observing platform with artificial intelligence, miniaturization, and low cost is a necessary means for marine collaborative survey, which will greatly increase the cost-effectiveness ratio of traditional marine survey;
Current underwater acoustic communication technology is far from achieving “underwater WiFi” and “transparent ocean”level. It is recommended to actively follow and pay attention to other related technologies; innovations in the fields of marine instrumentation and equipment require high R&D costs and require national correlation and the national strong support, especially for the planning and support of offshore test bases and open voyages. The opinions of participating experts have important reference significance for the follow-up marine business layout and development of the Highlander Group.
Mr. Wei Fajun, President of Highlander Group, attended the meeting and reported on the business plan of Highlander in the field of smart ocean and intelligent navigation. It focused on the construction and expansion of offshore radar networks, the innovative integration of ocean independent observation platforms, and the localization of key marine equipment and equipment. , as well as the layout and thinking in the field of ocean information services, and also expressed good intentions for in-depth cooperation with peer companies.
