Presidents Brief Introduction

Ph.D. in Finance and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder. Previously, Dr. Yan was the CEO and CIO of Hongtai Investment Fund, a 5 billion RMB fund specializing in Private Equity and M&A investments wholly owned by the Hubei Provincial Government. Prior to Hongtai, Dr. Yan was a Managing Director of Fosun Group, in charge of investment in banking, FinTech and other financial areas, as well as the securitization business. Prior to Fosun, Dr. Yan also worked at Lufax under the PingAn Group, as the General Manager of the New Product Development Group, focusing on securitization and building a trading platform of non-standard financial products. Before coming back to China, Dr. Yan worked on Wall Street for almost 15 years, held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, and other financial firms, mostly in areas such as investment, structured finance, real estate finance, and financial derivatives. Dr. Yan was also once the president of TCFA (The Chinese Finance Association), a global organization with more than 6000 members.
