President of the Consider Canada City Alliance (CCCA)
Michael Darch has over forty years of experience in technology management and economic development. His experience includes working in the private and not for profit sectors as well as the military.
He is currently the President of the Consider Canada City Alliance (CCCA), which unites eleven of Canada’s Economic Development Agencies to promote Canada and their respective jurisdictions, using a collaborative approach, as a destination for global trade and investment.
Meanwhile, as the President ofMicala Inc., he provides technology management expertise to international companies as well as providing strategic advice on economic development.
He founded and managed the company Lansdowne Technologies Inc for over 20 years. Lansdowne provides management services to large technology-intensive projects, primarily in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Michael holds Masters degrees in Business from the University of Ottawa and Engineering from CaseWestern ReserveUniversity in Cleveland and is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada. He is a Professional Engineer, registered in the Province of Ontario.
