Larry Lee, veteran executive in media, entertainment, high-tech, real estate, hospitality, e-commerce, etc. Currently vice president of JD.com, in charge of global corporate affairs. Previously he held positions include CEO of China Daily Holding Co.,Ltd, vice president of Palm Spring Holding Company, which is a high-end real estate developer headquartered in Hong Kong, and assistant president of Tsinghua Tongfang, a high-tech company under Tsinghua University, where he had been in charge of digital TV division. Lee had led the pre-opening engineering project of Beijing Four Seasons hotel, and the operation of Marriott Executive Suites in Beijing and Sand River Golf Club in Shenzhen. He had successfully promoted Sing Tao Daily, a Hong Kong based newspaper, to a new stage as the most influential overseas Chinese language media in the 1990s. Later, under his leadership, he took China Daily, the English language newspaper headquartered in Beijing, to New York and increased its circulation significantly worldwide. He has won many awards for his contributions in different industries. He graduated from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Cheung Kung Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School. He is a member of National Committee for US-China Relations since 2014.
